Quickstep Orders 12-Axis Dual Tower System

USL is pleased to announce a new order from Quickstep, based in Sydney, Australia, for a 12-axis dual tower ultrasonic inspection system. The system will support Quickstep’s aerospace composites manufacturing operations, providing high-accuracy automated inspection of complex composite structures.

The dual tower architecture delivers comprehensive motion control with full X, Y, Z plus yaw, pitch, and roll tip axes per side, enabling precise surface following and probe normalisation across a wide range of component geometries. The scalable design has been configured to suit Quickstep’s specific application and facility requirements.

This order builds on USL’s existing partnership with Quickstep and further extends USL’s installed base in the Asia-Pacific region.
