New Robotic System for Chinese Customer

China is currently the second largest domestic aviation market in the world and is the fastest growing. Having supplied many machines to Chinese companies which were instrumental in the inspection of COMAC C919 components, USL has received a large number of enquiries to supply equipment for inspection of component parts of the new CR929 aircraft.

Many of these parts are extremely large, often with very complex surface geometries. The ability of USL to design and build application specific equipment which meets all customer requirements is greatly beneficial to customers manufacturing such parts. USL also has the ability to customise our USL Scanner software to add functionality if required.

This system features both conventional and phased array ultrasonics with a range of end effectors enabling full coverage inspection of parts.
