ALRO Romania and ARCONIC UK – 30m Immersion System Installations

USL has completed the installation of large-scale immersion inspection systems at ALRO in Romania and ARCONIC in the UK. Both systems feature scan lengths of approximately 30 metres and are designed for the ultrasonic inspection of aerospace-grade aluminium plate.

These installations represent some of the largest immersion systems USL has delivered, demonstrating the scalability of our platform for high-volume metals inspection applications. The systems provide fully automated inspection capability, ensuring consistent and reliable detection of subsurface defects across large plate dimensions.

USL continues to provide ongoing support to both facilities as they integrate the systems into their production workflows.
